This policy explains what Pilar Services, Inc. collects through this website — including our service landing pages — what we do with it, and who else is involved. If anything here is unclear, call or email us using the details at the end and we will answer plainly.

Our quote and contact forms ask only for what we need to respond and get a technician to the right place:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• your email address;
• the address where the work is needed;
• the service or problem you selected;
• on our main contact form, optionally a company name and any notes you choose to add.

We use this to reply to you, price the work, and schedule the visit. We do not require any of it in order to browse the site, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

When you submit a form, two things happen: the details are emailed to our staff so someone can act on them, and they are saved as a record in our own administrative system so the enquiry is not lost. That record holds what you submitted, which page you submitted it from, a status such as "new", and the date.

Those records are held on infrastructure operated by our hosting provider, DigitalOcean, and are reachable only by Pilar staff who sign in to our admin area.

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. To do that, Google receives your IP address and information about how you interacted with the page. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms of service. Our forms also include a hidden field that only automated software fills in; it collects nothing about you.

We use Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics and Google Ads tags. These set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you reached the site — including whether you arrived from one of our Google Ads. We use it to see which advertising works and to improve the site. These tags are loaded after the page becomes usable, so they do not hold up the content you came for.

Some of our advertising pages use CallRail. It may show a tracking phone number in place of our main line and record details of the call — the number dialled, the time, how long it lasted, and which advertising source it came from — so we can tell which campaigns generate calls. Calls are answered by Pilar Services either way.

The cookies on this site come from the Google tags described above, plus a session cookie used when our own staff sign in to the admin area. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; our forms and phone numbers will still work if you do.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named in this policy, who handle it on our behalf, and where we are required to by law.

You can ask us for a copy of the information you have sent us, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and tell us what you would like; we will confirm once it is done.

This site is intended for people arranging heating, cooling and refrigeration work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
